Look How Far We have Come!

One year ago we launched a capital campaign to secure the future of Harmony Acres.

Our goal was to move from our small leased property to a selected 24-acre property with a 140' x 240' indoor arena. This property also has ample parking space, 17 acres of irrigated pasture, and perfect building sites for horse pens, barns, an outdoor arena—basically everything to establish our vision of providing a year-round facility for full-time Equine and Animal-Assisted Therapies in the Mesa County community.

In 1 year, with your help, we have been able to complete phase 1 of the project, including: securing the property; and adding groundwork, water line, and animal pens and shelters.

We have raised over half the funds needed for our goal, and are beginning on phase two of the project, which includes adding our small indoor arena (already purchased: Thank you Grand Junction Lions Club, Clough Family Foundation, and Capco Community Foundation!) and adding interior office space, client waiting space, handicapped accessible restrooms, and septic system.

This is our most crucial phase of the project. We are in need of sponsors who share our vision of providing a place of hope and healing for both animals and people in Mesa County. If you would like to become part of this project, please contact Morgan Kareus at 1-801-560-3941 or through her email at morgankareus@gmail.com or click on the link below to donate.
